Where the hell did that come from…?
I stared in the mirror, shocked, where was my tight young body, my toned abs, my bloomin waistline…?
It was just after I’d had my boys, and here I was struggling to get into my jeans (which had previously been too big), but that’s not the worst thing, the worst thing was the massive roll of fat that oozed over my waistband when I sat down.
I refused to go to the shop and buy a bigger pair; I literally hated looking at myself in the mirror.
Shhh…there’s other stuff we don’t talk about – you know ‘women’s problems’.
Then there was the dreaded ‘down below’ but nobody talks about those things, do they? That feeling that if you stand up too long or walk too far everything is going to fall out. Or if you laugh, cough or sneeze you’re going to wet yourself (nightmare, if, like me to get hayfever), and the have I or haven’t feeling as you gingerly get out of a chair, hoping that you can make it to the toilet before anyone notices the damp patch on your clothes or even worse, left in the chair.
I remember sitting in meetings unable to concentrate because all was thinking about was if I had time to run out to reach the toilet or would everything come gushing out as soon as I stood up. It was consuming my life, constantly looking for toilets, not wanting to go out.
Something had to be done!
Looking back now, I realise I was clueless. I was doing the rounds of the slimming clubs and every fad diet/fitness program that promised results quick, constantly checking how much I weighed.
I was basically eating the wrong foods and doing the wrong movements, and making myself miserable in the process, AND JUST GETTING NOWHERE!
I know that I am not alone in this, and I want to tell you that you are not alone!
You can get control of your body back and your life, and I can show you how.
Remember my roll of fat and my tendency to wet myself? Well, I don’t do that anymore… and nor do my clients. You can get control of your body and get your life back, just like I have.
It requires effort from you, and you must be at a point where you WANT to change, it’s not a quick fix. But if you bring your commitment, I promise I will show you another way, and you will have fun in the process… heck, you might even enjoy yourself!
Life is too short for you not to enjoy it and you’re never too old to start.
Your body is an amazing thing – you don’t have anywhere else to live, so you might as well look after it and nurture it. It’s time to end the fight….the fight against food, the tortuous ‘beast’ your body brigade and the hiding behind baggy clothes.
Let me show you another way.

Together we will begin to build your fitness foundations, so that you become stronger than you ever imagined, you will become in tune with your body, and learn to listen to it. You will begin to enjoy the journey, until looking after your body becomes second nature, and you’ll wonder why you didn’t begin years ago.

I study A LOT, which is a rare thing in the fitness world. I have learned from some of the best trainers, physiotherapists and health experts; and then I APPLY this learning to your health.
Let me explain, would you let someone cut your hair that had only been on a one-day training course?
Would you see an unqualified doctor, solicitor, accountant?
Of course not, yet the health field is full of people who are unqualified or have just done one day courses and then say they’re an ‘expert’. It surprises me how many of them there are around, would you trust something as important as your health and wellbeing to them?
You will get complete honesty from me. I won’t be wasting your time; all I ask is that you don’t waste mine! I won’t tie you into lots of 1-2-1’s when I think that you’re class ready, I’ll tell you.
If I didn’t get results for my clients then they wouldn’t come back…my diary is usually booked a month in advance and many of my classes have waiting lists.
I have been teaching fitness for over 20 years – I have a LOT of fitness related qualifications including Pre/Post Natal, Back Conditions, Pelvic Floor, Level 4 Weight Management for Obese and Diabetic Clients, Level 3 Nutrition, GP Referrals, 3rd Age Woman (Hormones and Weight gain during Peri and Post Menopause), Nutrition and many more.
I am constantly updating my qualifications and I’m currently studying with the world renowned C.H.E.K. (Corrective, Holistic, Exercise & Kinesiology) Institute.
